  7.     I will try to answer you ASAP. Please make sure to include
  8.     the following information in your bug report:

  10.      *    Version of nfsd you're using.
  11.      *    The client with which these problems occur (OS, ...).
  12.      *    What compiler you used to compile nfsd. If you run
  13.         gcc-elf, please check if the problem also exists when
  14.         you make nfsd with a.out.
  15.      *    Your /etc/exports file, or relevant parts thereof.
  16.      *    Unless it's too large, a debug trace of the problem.
  17.         Refer to the nfsd manpage on how to make nfsd generate
  18.         a debug trace.

  20.     These informations will likely help me find any bugs faster.

  23.     FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY

  25.     If you send a debug trace that contains file handle data,
  26.     please consider using PGP to encrypt it. Anyone intercepting
  27.     your mail can abuse these file handles to do bad things to your
  28.     NFS server if it's not firewalled. My PGP key is available by
  29.     fingering okir@brewhq.swb.de.

  31.     Also, when reporting bugs on Usenet, it is *not* wise to
  32.     post your exports file or debug traces that contain address or
  33.     file handle data unless you are sure your NFS server is not
  34.     reachable from the Internet.
